‘Polli Murel’ is bred at the Polli Horticultural Research Centre by Arthur Jaama and Eevi Jaama. The cross ‘Zorka’ × ‘Zolotaja Lošitskaja’ was made in 1965. Application for registration registered 05.03.2004, variety is in DUS (registration trials).

Ripens in midseason.

Cherry is medium, round shaped. The skin is whitish yellow overspread with pink stripes and spots. The flesh is whitish yellow, soft, juicy, sweet and sour, very tasty. The juice is colourless. Freestone.

Tree is vigorous, the crown is round. A low bearer, self-unfruitful, pollinated by ‘Leningradskaja Tšornaja’ and ‘Arthur’. Medium winter hardiness. Disease resistance is good.
