‘Paide Taliõun’ is a landrace. The original tree grew in the town of Paide. The interest in cultivating arose at the end of the 19th century.

Winter season cultivar: can be stored until spring.

Fruit is of medium size, oblate and slightly lopsided. The ground colour is greenish yellow, striped red overcolour covers most part of the apple. The flesh is yellowish white, subacid. Medium susceptibility to apple scab.

Tree is vigorous, round-headed and dense, moderately productive. Winter hardy.
